TIM helps producers, processors, brands, distributors and retailers connect stories about people and nature with evidence. Share the value you help create so partners and buyers can see it and examine it together.

For everyone behind a product, from source to sale

## Make the value you create part of the buying decision.

Choosing ingredients, paying fairly and supporting forest care all contribute to a product’s value. TIM helps producers and the businesses they work with tell these stories with evidence, so buyers understand what their purchase supports.

## Transparency built on shared evidence

Stories come with records and evidence to look back on. People across the supply chain can use the same facts to talk with partners, answer customers and check information together.

## Impact seen through everyday lives

Look at household income, opportunities for women, shared benefits and care for nature. Show how everyday work and business decisions affect people’s lives.

## A voice for the people who make it

Growers, processors, brands and retailers all contribute to a product’s value. TIM helps buyers see the care you put into your work and the part you play.

## Stories that belong alongside the product.

Opportunities for people, forests that are cared for and fairer trade depend on many hands. TIM makes room for these stories, the evidence behind them and the people who contribute.

### Women shaping their own future

Who owns the business? Who takes part in decisions? How are women paid? Make their role visible in the story of the product.

### Forests that sustain livelihoods

From growing coffee under shade to sourcing from farms that care for forests, show how growers, buyers and brands support watersheds and biodiversity together.

### A fair share of the benefits

Purchase prices, workers’ pay and the share that reaches producers and communities show who benefits. Agreements and records make that fairness something people can examine.

### Culture passed to the next generation

Local rice varieties, textile patterns and knowledge passed down by elders connect a product to the people who keep that heritage alive.

### Household finances and a secure living

Income, costs, savings and family expenses help explain what a livelihood means for a household and its plans for the future.

### Craft that creates livelihoods

From weavers and basket makers to the designers, brands and shops that bring their work to market, show the skills, income and cooperation behind each piece.

## Stories with evidence. Trust built together.

Care for the environment, people and fairly shared benefits involves every stage of trade. TIM connects each contribution to the product so people can see and examine it together.

### Each partner tells their part

Explain your work, the choices behind it and the people involved, from making and sourcing products to supporting those you work with.

### Evidence makes the story traceable

Activity records, images and supporting information give others something to return to and examine.

### Everyone can take a closer look

Producers, partners and buyers can access the same information as a basis for discussion, questions and checking together.

## Record the work. Give the story evidence.

Explore examples from the origins of coffee and rice that processors, brands and retailers can build on, connecting production and forest care with the lives behind the product.

1. **Add your plot** Enter a plot name, area, growing method, and start date to give your records a home.

2. **Record your activities** Record farm work, care for nature and work with your partners, with dates, details, photos or videos of what happened.

3. **Create a report and share** Choose which plots to publish. TIM brings the records into a report with a link and QR code.

## Let trade support people and nature.

A product passes through many hands. Producers, processors, brands and retailers each choose who they work with and how. TIM helps those partnerships share stories and evidence of what they do, including the value that reaches people, communities and nature.

### Can I record activities beyond the field?

Yes. A product’s story can include forest care, women’s roles, shared income, local knowledge, community craft and household finances. You can record activities on the plot, off the plot and in the household, with notes and supporting images.

### What does examining evidence together mean?

The people and businesses behind a product publish stories with records and evidence. Partners and buyers can look at that information, compare it with what happened and use it as the basis for discussion and checking together. Credibility depends on the evidence and the people involved. A TIM report does not automatically grant certification or an ESG rating.
